Friday Motivation

I hope some of these quotes will brighten up your day. Enjoy!

“Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.” – Mark Twain

I’ll start this article with a quote from one of the most successful businessmen in the world, a man who is well known for his motivational speeches and long lectures. I’m talking about  Tony Robbins  and his quote:  “There are no traffic jams along the extra mile.”

In other words:  a job worth doing is worth doing right. Always give your best!

Business Motivation

How people will remember you? Do you care? In this world it’s not easy to be loved or hated, what really matters is how people will remember you. If they will think about you often if they want to emulate you, do what’s right just like you did, and so on.  There is nothing wrong with wanting to be remembered, the only thing you have to do  –  is to make sure that you provide your contribution to society. leave a print in history. Leave something that no one can ever take away from your name!

Something that will help you to live longer and healthier.   For example, how does somebody inspiring you to look? Would it be a great speaker, a funny comedian, or an interesting person? Maybe all of these combined at once in one person! The point is – there are people who take care of their health, they know what’s right and what’s not for them. Healthiness can bring greatness into your life – don’t ignore the importance of food as well as physical activity. Fitness apps could help you to stay motivated always, knowing exactly how many calories did you burn.

One of my favorite motivational speakers,  Jim  Rohn, and his quote:   “If people like you,  they’ll listen. If  they  listen, they’ll like you.”

Positive people are better at decision-making. They are easier to persuade and have positive energy around them which makes others want to agree with what they propose! Persuasion is a skill that can be learned but it requires practice: start by persuading yourself how great things could be if you change your attitude towards life… The way we think  –  is the way we are.

This blog was inspired by the following quote: “If you change the way you look at things, You will change the things you look at.”

I do not know whether who has ever thought about it or not, but there comes Friday as soon as this week finishes, and it will be the start of another weekend that we look forward to after work on Friday.  It seems like every week our lives are so busy that when Friday comes around, we feel like time slows down and we get some sense of relief from the stress we are under during the working week.

We all have been there…feeling down because of work; feeling tired because of the school; stressed because of family…etc.

When I feel sad, it is hard for me to go to sleep when I am like that, so instead of going to bed early when I am like this, my mind tends to think about solving problems and trying different ways out until such time that an idea hit me and  I  can find my moment of happiness from it.

As we all know, there comes a time in our lives where failure is inevitable. It is important to not let this failure define us and keep trying because if we give up after the first try, then we will never know what would have happened if we kept going at least until the second try, etc. I find it hard to admit my failures as sometimes, I am too shy to tell anyone about them for fear of being laughed at or judged.

To be honest,  there are some things  I  do not do a lot of in life that others might think is important to me. For example, I may not play basketball (I played once and it was in Year 1 of primary school), or be very good at singing/raping (Ryan Higa would have said I need no improvement ;p).

“The road to success is always under construction.”

In life, we are constantly learning new things every day; whether from our parents, teachers, books, etc; we should always be open for knowledge comes in many forms and we just have to pick up the one that suits us.  Some of the things will be useful for our future while some we may just ignore.  But one thing is very clear, we should know that we are living in a knowledgeable society, and having an open mind can bring many opportunities to us.  Let me share few quotes I’d like to mention here today that will inspire you.

I’m grateful for everything that has happened in my life.  Without these experiences,  I would not be who I am today – Oprah Winfrey

The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength,  not a lack of knowledge, but rather in a lack of will – Vince Lombardi

You can’t change the past.  But you can ruin the present by living in it – Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

Today I dare to be brilliant, to live life with exuberance and joy…and take whatever comes my way with passion, laughter, and an open heart – Les Brown

Don’t wish it were easier; wish you were better – Jim Rohn

Every child that learns to read changes the future for mankind – Margaret Mead

How To Motivate Yourself. In today’s hard times, motivation is important than ever before for a person to work at his/her full potential.  It is very important to teach children the value of hard work and how not to give up until they achieve their dreams.

Achieving something in life takes time,  thus patience and consistency are required to complete the task one has set out for himself/herself.  We all have dreams,  we all want something out of life.      If we know ourselves better, we will be able to live our life more productively.  I have many times noticed that those who worry most are people who do nothing about it,  so I think it’s great if you just write down ten things you can do to make yourself better and then actually do it.

Here are few tips to help you be motivated in different aspects of life:

 • Motivation and Goals – In our society,  we have the saying “be realistic”,  but I believe we should be more concerned about being ambitious.  It is nice if you know something you want from your life such as wanting a house with a white picket fence etc.  But being organized is important too; if you can’t start at once or finish the task within one day, just set for yourself smaller goals that will lead to finishing the final goal.

There is nothing wrong with starting small and having a more realistic goal.

•  Perseverance – The word perseverance stands for the capacity to continue doing something despite difficulties, discouragement, or distractions.              This is a very important quality in order to achieve something in life,  such as take my example of writing this blog and many other things I do on the computer.  I have learned that if you give up too soon or keep yourself attached to what people think about you, it will be very hard to accomplish your goals.  This is because we usually don’t appreciate our effort until after the task has been completed; thus encouragement from others should come right before starting a project and not when the project is finished.

 • Positivity – In order to be productive,  it is important you stay positive.  If you’re negative and worrying about things that may not,  don’t, or even will happen, it will take a toll on your mind and eventually stop you from doing what needs to be done in order to achieve your goals.

•Learn how to say NO! – A habit of saying no before thinking all the time leads one into trouble.  This is because if someone asks you for help when you don’t have the time, it makes you feel bad and angry at yourself for not being able to do it.   It’s good to say no so you can get more done in a day and to keep yourself organized.

Everyone has their ups and downs in life, I’m sure when you are down there is someone somewhere who is up, but it is important to stay positive even during hard times.  We live once, thus our health should be of high importance. If we think negatively about anything, we tend to remain stuck on that thought until we find a  positive method to turn it around. People are born with natural abilities;  but if we don’t use them, they will be useless. It’s good to know that even when you’re at your lowest, you still have something within yourself that will pull you out of trouble. Some people say “if I had known better then I would have done better”, but only if we learn from our mistakes can we move forward and grow. Everyone loves vacations, thus vacations shouldn’t be a time for depression. Many people love the idea of going on vacation so they can get away from their daily routine, but some go overboard with relaxing and forget about what their goals for their vacation were in the first place.

Thus, evaluations are important. We all know we should evaluate our progress daily, but if you don’t it is just like not working at all. One of the main causes of stress and anxiety is fear.   Fear is an emotion that takes over your mind when something unfamiliar appears before you. Thus, with experience comes knowledge, and with knowledge comes more understanding of what to do in a particular situation. Our parents’ generation teaches us that money doesn’t grow on trees, surely they knew better than anyone else in their time how hard they would have to work in order to get money.             Laughter is the best medicine; thus we should laugh more often. A person who has a smile on their face attracts more happiness in life and helps others around him/her become happier as well.

Many successful people have found that positive thinking can help them do things that they never thought possible before due to their negative outlook on life, which led them into depression and failure.         As you have realized from this post, there is always a way out of your problems if you try hard enough or if you find the right motivation to get things done. Self-motivation is just as good as any external motivation that you can find.  Learn from your mistakes and maintain your positivity and you will be successful in anything that you do for the rest of your life.

Positivity Your Mindset Plan your day Daily To-Do List Prioritize your daily tasks Learn How to say NO! Be a Positive Thinker/have the discipline to do what they desire  to  do  in  life/ control negative thoughts

I hope this blog will inspire you to try harder and motivate yourself. Good luck!
